“Handleys is most favourite cafe/coffee shop! It serves the most beautiful flat white known to man! The service is always great they go the extra mile! They always have such huge smiles on them! As I said the coffee is out of this world! Don’t get me started on the food! It’s made fresh to order you can tell by the shear taste of the food! If I had the chance I’d consume everything of the menu! Always comes out piping hot and the presentation is the cherry on top the cake! I really enjoy walking in to be made to feel welcomed and to feel like the stress of the outside world is left at the door and that’s thanks to the lovely staff/team at Handleys!”

“Another friendly welcome all bright and breezy for a Sunday morning. smashed chilli avocado on granary toast a fab start to the day – very flavoursome and good value. Wide range of breakfast/brunch choices – head here instead of Epsom – easily park across the road and then chill!”

Lovely cafe and great breakfast
“This place is only relatively small but we managed to get a table quickly as the turnaround it quite quick. I had the gluten free eggs Royale and was very pleased with the quality of the food and portion size. Great, bright, friendly, suitable for all cafe. Would definitely go back. Parking for this place. There’s a few pay and display car parks a matter of minutes away.”

Little gem in Ashtead
“This is a lovely little cafe in Ashtead High Street where there is seating inside and outside. The staff are very friendly and personable and service is excellent and very prompt. We tend to go there on a Sunday morning where they serve a very varied menu. I particularly like the avocado with chilli on toast with smoked salmon. It is generally served with poached eggs but there is never any problem if you wish to alter your order, which is not the case with many other venues. They serve a good assortment of pastries and always a home made cake. The scrambled eggs are delicious too. They cater for all ages and have a children’s menu too. The cafe is very clean – as are the toilets. Prices very reasonable too. Would thoroughly recommend giving it a try.”

Lovely Breakfast
“We went into Handleys for a celebration bBreakfast as my daughter had just got her A level results. A very community vibe as soon as you go through the door,the staff were friendly and the breakfast was to die for. My daughter had a sausage sandwich and I had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. We will be definitely going back.”

Great local independent coffee shop
“Handley’s is probably now a victim of its own success, as there are signs limiting customers' time at tables. Admittedly the space is small with a few tables & some bar seats at the window. If a table becomes free there's a race to pounce on it! The staff are quick (although it always amazes me, as a tea drinker, how long it takes to flick & turn all the handles to make a coffee) and the service is friendly. Long live the independent outlet!”

Mon-Fri: 8.00am to 5.00pm | Sat: 9.00am to 4.00pm | Sun: 9:00am to 3.00pm
The kitchen will be closed on Sundays for the foreseeable future due to staff shortage.
We will be operating as a coffee shop as normal with some savoury options, and plenty of cake!
We apologise if this causes an inconvenience, and we are trying hard to find kitchen staff so we can operate a full service soon.
